City of Arlington in Texas is seeking a lead Meter Services Technician to coordinate daily crew activities, supervise meters and AMI infrastructure maintenance, and respond to service issues on water/wastewater systems.

The role requires supervising staff, managing safety, and ensuring timely repair, replacement, or testing of meters, vaults, and related infrastructure. A CDL with tanker endorsement and wastewater license are required or obtainable within set timeframes.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience and ability to lead a crew.
• Knowledge of water utility operations, policies, and safety.
• Licenses and technical training related to water systems required or obtainable.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsabilités

• Lead crew in repairing, replacing, or adjusting meters and AMI components.
• Coordinate maintenance on water and wastewater infrastructure daily.
• Investigate service issues and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Supervise and train subordinates, including scheduling and safety.
