Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Kentwood, MI is seeking team members to provide outstanding member service, supervise associates, and keep the sales floor well stocked and organized. You will handle customer needs, guidance on self-service technology, and assist with purchases while upholding safety and company policies.

The role involves merchandising, team leadership, and participation in recruiting, scheduling, and coaching.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
• Leading a team, Supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs, guiding on self-service tech, assisting with purchases and locating merchandise.
• Assists management with supervising associates, assigning duties, training, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Receives and stocks supplies, organizes sales floor, and completes documentation per policies.
• Maintains safety through safety sweeps, forklift procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintains merchandise presentation, signs, pricing, and inventory control to prevent shrink.
• Oversees club pick up order picking and staging.
• Develops processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and partners, analyzing data, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Promotes compliance with ethics and integrity in business processes.
