Job summary

McWane Ductile in New Jersey is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations across casting, finishing, and melting. You will lead 15-35 hourly workers, ensure safety and quality, and drive production goals in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications include 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, familiarity with lockout/tagout and safety audits, and strong computer skills for records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in a heavy industrial or foundry environment preferred.
• Ability to work in harsh conditions, including high heat and physical labor.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices (lockout/tagout, safety audits, JSA).
• Strong computer skills and ability to maintain production records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production operations across casting, melting, finishing areas.
• Lead teams of 15-35 hourly employees and monitor performance to meet targets.
• Promote safety culture and apply OSHA, lockout/tagout, and safety programs.
• Analyze production data and coordinate repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Plan with production schedules, job orders, and customer requirements.
• Adjust staffing and workflows to meet production demands and quality goals.
• Maintain accurate production records, timekeeping, scrap, and metrics.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments for efficiency.
