Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Lead Medication Technician to oversee daily ADL services and medication management for residents. You will supervise the medication technician team, ensure resident care plans are followed, and maintain communication with medical professionals and families to provide consistent, high-quality care.

You will lead the team during shifts, administer medications per orders, verify documentation, and foster teamwork while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year caregiving experience.
• Six months supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and follow MAR.
• Medical terminology familiarity; basic computer skills (Word/Excel) preferred.
• State medication administration certifications required.
• TB clearance and health requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the medication technician team.
• Administer medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Verify daily documentation and task completion.
• Maintain resident care plans and communicate with medical staff and families.
• Participate in meal service and assist with dining room tasks.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Support staff development and safe work practices.
