Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Lead Medication Technician to oversee daily ADL services and medication management for residents. You will supervise the medication technician team, ensure resident care plans are followed, and maintain communication with medical professionals and families to provide consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Caregiving experience with elderly residents.
• At least six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and follow MAR exactly.
• Basic computer skills with Word/Excel preferred.
• Must have state medication administration certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the medication technician team per resident care plans.
• Administer medications following physician orders and MAR.
• Verify daily documentation and track completion of tasks.
• Communicate resident needs to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
• Participate in meal service and supervise shifts.
• Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing education.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
