Milestone Retirement is seeking a Lead Medication Technician to oversee daily ADL services and medication management for residents. You will supervise the medication technician team, ensure resident care plans are followed, and maintain communication with medical professionals and families to provide consistent, high-quality care.

You will lead a team, administer medications per physician orders, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA and safety standards in a care-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience.
• At least 6 months supervisory experience in health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and accurately follow MAR.
• State certifications for medication administration required.
• Must meet health requirements including TB clearance.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise the medication technician team to follow resident care plans.
• Administer medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Verify daily documentation and track completion of tasks.
• Communicate resident needs to the team to ensure high-quality service.
• Assist with meal service: serving, clearing, and dining room care.
• Supervise staff during shifts and support their development.
• Maintain certifications, in-service training, and ongoing education.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
