Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Lead Medication Technician to provide compassionate, direct care, assist with medication administration, and support daily living activities for residents. You will lead a team, ensure safety, and uphold a personalized care plan within a supportive environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong leadership, and excellent communication to ensure residents’ comfort and well-being across shifts. Weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state medication administration license (CNA/HCA) or meet state requirements for assisted living.
• Experience with medication administration in a caregiving setting preferred.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medication administration process and ensure safety protocols.
• Train and mentor staff on medication management best practices.
• Collaborate with Health and Wellness Director to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents' responses to medications and report adverse effects.
