Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities. You will be part of a team focused on resident safety, comfort, and well-being.

This role emphasizes careful documentation, collaboration with pharmacies, and engagement in life enrichment programs, with a weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with the daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration where appropriate.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote independence and offer emotional support through engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication between residents, families, and staff.
