Job summary

Ashe Services For Aging, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to oversee caregiver staff, ensure quality resident care, and administer medications as per policy. You will train new teammates, document MAR activities, and uphold the facility's philosophy while supporting residents and their families.

Responsibilities include leading shift coverage, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior caregiving and medication administration experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in caregiver work preferred.
• Nurse Aide 1 Certification, verifiable on registry.
• Current Medication Aide Certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Follow the six rights of medication administration with residents, three checks each time.
• Administer/assist with medications per MAR and protect resident privacy.
• Document clearly on the MAR after meds are given, held, or changed.
• Supervise caregiver staff on duty to ensure quality care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and resident comfort.
• Communicate resident needs and changes during shifts.
• Assist with training new team members and maintain paperwork.
