Job summary

Ashe Services For Aging, Inc. seeks a hands-on supervisor to oversee caregiver staff, ensuring high‑quality resident care and adherence to medication administration policies. You will support activities of daily living and assist with meals, documenting appropriately and maintaining a clean, organized med area.

The role requires a caregiver mindset, the necessary nurse aide credentials, and the ability to work with older adults and memory-impaired residents in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year caregiver experience preferred.
• Desire to work with older adults and memory-impaired individuals.
• Nurse Aide 1 Certification verifiable on registry.
• Current Medication Aide Certification required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Friendly, caring disposition.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff on duty and ensure quality resident care.
• Follow six rights of medication administration and MAR documentation.
• Maintain organized med cart/room and restock as needed.
• Adhere to individual resident plans and notify coordinators of changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and resident mobility.
• Supervise dining assistance and meal service; support staff as needed.
• Complete care system documentation per residence policies.
