Job summary

Senior Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Medication Aide to supervise self-administered medications for Assisted Living residents, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines and SSMG policies.

You will report to the Wellness Director, and shifts are 12 hours (7a–7p and 7p–7a). You will document health changes, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure resident safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide must have at least one certification and complete the medication administration training approved by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications for Assisted Living residents in compliance with federal & state regulations and SSMG guidelines.
• Document changes in residents' health and communicate with the Wellness Director.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain open communication with departments and staff.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff as requested by supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information and participate in required trainings and staff meetings.
