Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH seeks a Lead Medical Technologist to guide technical staff, ensure quality control, and support CAP/Joint Commission readiness across transfusion, chemistry, hematology, microbiology and serology.

You will mentor staff, coordinate competency checks, troubleshoot instruments, and act as a technical resource to hospital teams, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and professional decorum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or closely related field.
• ASCP MLS certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead interpretation of clinical lab results using professional judgment.
• Perform a wide range of tests and set up supplies/equipment.
• Adhere to quality control policies and participate in QA activities.
• Document results and report to nursing units/physicians.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; participate in competency checks.
