Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians in Westerville, OH, is seeking a Lead Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) for our Central Lab.

You will oversee laboratory production, train staff, resolve equipment issues and ensure QA/QC and turnaround time benchmarks. This full-time role offers benefits eligibility and a collaborative, professional work environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are required to coordinate between shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• ASCP certification as MT/MLS or equivalent required.
• A.S. in Medical Laboratory Technology or B.S. in Medical Technology/MLS.
• 3-5 years in a highly complex lab.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory production operations for assigned shifts.
• Train, develop, motivate and evaluate staff.
• Ensure equipment operates correctly and maintenance is documented.
• Maintain QA/QC plans and ensure accuracy of test results.
• Coordinate cross-shift transitions and meet turnaround benchmarks.
• Manage LIS documentation and lab policy adherence.
