You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Lead Medical Technologist like you to be a part of our team.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory and the direct supervision of the Laboratory Manager or Supervisor, the Lead Medical Technologist provides clinical laboratory services and immediate supervision to assigned laboratory section in accordance with accepted practices of Departmental and Hospital standards of care, with further responsibilities including involvement in departmental inventory, validation of monthly quality control, new procedures and /or equipment.
Each patient is assessed by appropriate disciplines beginning at the time the patient enters a hospital service and progressing through discharge. The person in this position demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide clinical laboratory services to patients served in relation to growth and development over the life span to identify their requirements relative to age-specific needs.
