Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Goal: The Lead Medical Technologist at BSMC collects blood, performs tests, inputs patient information and test results into the computer, performs necessary computer functions, and assists in other duties as directed by the laboratory supervisor/manager. The candidate must be proficient in one of the following disciplines:

Position Requirements:

• Certification as MT (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree or current enrollment in a Bachelor's program.
• Preferably one year of experience in Laboratory Sciences.
