Principal IT Technologist SAP Sales and Distribution

A Day in the Life

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Sales Order Management (SOM) Functional Analyst with extensive experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionalities including Order Management, Customer Consignment, STOs and Intercompany Sales, Drop Shipments, Order Fulfillment, Billing and Invoicing, Customer Complaint Management, Business Partner, and Pricing. This position is based in Colombia and operates in a remote model.

Responsibilities may include:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure, customize, and maintain SAP SD modules, including integration with other modules like FI, CO, MM, and PP.
• Provide expertise in SAP best practices and advise on system optimizations and enhancements.
• Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation projects, including Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases.
• Work with other functional leads in the IT team to ensure SAP SD configurations align with SAP best practices.
• Perform system integration activities ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP SD Functional Analyst, focusing on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in Pharma and/or Medical Devices is desired, as well as familiarity with automation tools and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
