Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in basic sciences is required.
• May substitute required education with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
• Experience as a laboratory professional and attention to accuracy are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead technician role in Specimen Processing, coordinating with supervisor.
• Train and orient new technicians and students; maintain competency documentation.
• Assist with employee evaluations and address workflow challenges.
• Evaluate specimen integrity and troubleshoot pre-analytical issues.
• Support quality assurance, documentation, and inventory control.
• Performs duties independently while meeting productivity goals.
