The Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist to oversee the designated section, write and maintain procedures, and monitor quality control.

Responsibilities include competency assessment, proficiency testing coordination, validating new procedures, and ensuring timely reporting of results. On-site role with a day shift; safety net hospital with strong community focus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in MLS/CLS/MT or related field and NAACLS-recognized certification.
• ASCP or equivalent certification required within one year of employment.
• Experience leading a laboratory section and coordinating QC activities.

• Coordinate quality control programs and proficiency testing.
• Validate new testing procedures and monitor supplies.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of results and shift duties.
