Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Medical Technologist Lead to oversee a high- quality laboratory section, ensuring accurate testing, QC, and regulatory compliance. The role includes training staff, maintaining LIS systems, and supporting accreditation processes.
The incumbent will coordinate workflow, supervise personnel, and assist with phlebotomy as needed, while upholding safety and hospital policies.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
- 2–4 years recent MT experience in a clinical lab required.
- 0–2 years leadership/quality management experience preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Coordinate and supervise moderate/high-complexity testing with timely reporting.
- Oversee QC, proficiency testing, and regulatory compliance (CAP/CLIA).
- Lead training, competency assessments, and staff development.
- Maintain LIS/EMR data integrity and instrument reliability.
- Support accreditation readiness and data collection for inspections.
- Assist phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
