Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Med Tech Lead for the Hematology & Blood Bank to oversee the designated laboratory section. The role includes writing and maintaining procedures, monitoring quality control, and coordinating competency assessments for staff.

The lead will supervise testing workflows, assure accurate reporting, and maintain equipment with a focus on service excellence and teamwork within the lab. Shift is 6a-2:30p, with benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), or Medical Technology (MT).
• Bachelor's degree in related science field plus NAACLS-recognized MLS/CLS/MT certificate.
• ASCP or equivalent certification within one year of employment.

Mansioni

• Demonstrates and coordinates competency for all testing procedures in designated section.
• Coordinates, performs, and evaluates the quality control program.
• Performs routine maintenance on analyzers and equipment per schedule.
• Reports results accurately within turnaround time guidelines.
• Completes end-of-shift duties including pending lists and area restocking.
• Demonstrates service excellence aligned with department standards.
• Exhibits teamwork and leadership for the designated section.
• Answers calls within three rings with proper departmental identification.
