Job summary

Lakeview Hospital is seeking a Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist to oversee complex testing including point of care, urinalysis, kit testing, and Micro PXR testing in a dynamic hospital lab setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, MLS/MT/CLS certification within one year if not already held, and at least two years of lab experience. Strong leadership and cross‑department communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Certification as MT/CLS/MLS by NBRC/ASCP required within 1 year if not present at hire.
• Valid driver's license and meeting Lakeview's Automobile Liability Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze complex medical laboratory tests and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Lead departmental management and support, including regulatory readiness.
• Provide technical instructions and advise other departments on laboratory procedures.
