University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, seeks a Supervisor- Medical Lab to lead Adult Hematology operations. You will oversee technical staff, implement QC/QA programs, and ensure accurate, timely test results while maintaining compliance and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with Lab Director and Medical Director, supervise outside labs, train personnel, and support performance improvement initiatives. Full-time, day shift; 100% FTE with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Four years of related laboratory experience in the area to be managed.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and regulatory standards.

Responsabilidades

• Assist manager in implementing quality control and quality assurance policies.
• Participates in performance improvement and test utilization initiatives.
• Supervises all duties for outside laboratories as well as internal labs.
• Develops plans for validation of all processes and maintains SOPs.
• Assists with regulatory compliance and site inspections.
