Job summary

Ideal candidates have a BS in CLS or related field, ASCP certification or eligibility, and 2 years of clinical lab experience, with 5 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from a CLIA-approved program (required).
• ASCP or equivalent certification (required); registry eligible within timeframes may be acceptable per location.
• Minimum 2 years clinical lab experience; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a Medical Lab Scientist with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist Technical Specialist in implementing new procedures and policies.
• Coordinate proficiency testing to meet deadlines and ensure quality results.
• Recommend system changes to improve workflow and daily operations.
• Maintain schedules and ensure compliance with all responsibilities.
