Mercy Health is seeking a Lead Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) for Perrysburg Medical Center who will perform diverse lab testing and deliver high-quality results to physicians. The role supports the Technical Specialist to enhance laboratory operations and efficiency.

Required BS in CLIA-approved programs, MLS certification or eligible, and 2 years of clinical lab experience (5 years preferred). The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from a CLIA-approved program (required).
• MLS certification or eligible per ASCP (required for BSMH) and timely certification if registry-eligible (RSFH).
• 2 years of clinical lab experience required; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a Medical Lab Scientist.
• Assist Technical Specialist with new procedures and policies.
• Coordinate proficiency testing to meet deadlines; ensure testing is registered, analyzed and reviewed.
