GBMC HealthCare in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting under supervision. You will perform phlebotomy, take vital signs, run basic diagnostics, and assist with EKG and wound care while supporting pre-visit planning and population health efforts.

You will maintain exam rooms, manage supplies, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, efficient care. A certified MA with CPR certification is preferred.

Formación

• 5 years of experience including completion of training and certification.
• Certificate of training from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Program and National Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsabilidades

• Takes and records vital signs, performs routine diagnostic tests, administers medications.
• Assists with EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection and patient preparation.
• Maintains exam room cleanliness, stocks supplies, and handles EMR documentation.
• Supports population management and pre-visit planning with patient communication.
• Oversees inventory and disposal of expired medical supplies.
