Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with direct patient care in an office setting. You will take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, wound care and medication administration, assist with immunizations, patient education and preparing exam rooms.

You will also schedule appointments, maintain supplies, and respond to patient questions. Education may be a Certificate from an accredited MA program and National CMA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of MA program with CMA certification.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass medication calculation test with 85%+ prior to hire.

• Take and record vital signs.
