Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with phlebotomy, EKG, specimen collection, medication administration and vital signs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to distinguish normal vs abnormal diagnostic results.
• Ability to pass a medication calculation test with 85% or better.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in direct patient care in an office.
• Takes and records vital signs; performs routine diagnostic tests.
• Administers medications and prepares patient for exam.
• Records EKG and supports patient scheduling and room turnover.
