GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in an office setting. You will perform phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, and take vital signs under supervision.

The role includes pre-visit planning, population management support, and EMR documentation. Requirements include a Medical Assistant certificate with national certification and at least 5 years of related experience; BLS CPR certification is preferred.

Qualificações

• 5 years of experience with completion of MA training and certification.
• Certificate of training from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Program and National Certification preferred.
• BLS CPR certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform direct patient care in office settings: vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, injections, wound care and specimen collection.
• Manage patient flow: pre-visit planning and preparation for exams.
• Document all patient information in the EMR and review diagnostic results with providers.
