Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certificate of training from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National CMA certification (CCMA, AAMA or RMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Perform routine diagnostic tests and phlebotomy.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Prepare patient for exam and record EKG.
• Chaperone and assist during exams as needed.
• Review results and assist physician with follow-up.
