Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant for the Endocrinology team in Weymouth. This leadership role combines hands-on patient care with training and supervision of Medical Assistant staff, under the Practice Manager's direction.

The position focuses on improving workflows, coordinating patient flow, and delivering an exceptional patient experience in a busy endocrinology setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
• 3–5 years MA experience in clinical and administrative duties.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and team management skills.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and day-to-day guidance to the Medical Assistant team.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely, efficient care delivery.
• Assist with patient intake, including medical history, vital signs, and exam preparation.
• Assign tasks to team members to promote workload balance.
• Serve as liaison between clinical staff, Practice Manager, and providers.
• Support onboarding and precepting of new hires or students.
