Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Weymouth is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to join the Endocrinology team. This leadership role blends hands-on patient care with staff training, daily coordination, and clinical oversight under the Practice Manager.

You will mentor MA colleagues, improve workflows, support providers, and help ensure efficient patient flow and an exceptional patient experience at 541 Main Street.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medical Assistant team with training, mentoring and day-to-day guidance.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely, efficient care delivery.
• Assist with patient intake, vitals, exam prep and office-based procedures.
• Assign tasks to team members to optimize workload and resources.
• Act as liaison between clinical staff, Practice Manager and providers.
• Participate in onboarding, competency assessments and staff development.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment focused on quality patient care.
