Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to support the Practice Manager in maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care. You will train and onboard clinical staff, mentor medical assistants, and coordinate with providers to ensure accurate documentation and timely reminders.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years MA experience, strong English, leadership, and EMR knowledge, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Three to five years experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office.
• Graduate of a two-year accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, procedures, prescription renewals, triage of patient phone calls, review charts, lab test results, scheduling patients, responding to provider messages.
• Provide back up support for the medical assistant team and mentor staff.
