Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant for our Ballard site in Seattle. The role focuses on flow management, clinical and administrative support, and direct patient care under physician supervision.

The position requires leadership responsibilities, collaboration with care teams, and a commitment to Neighborcare Health’s mission and patient-centered approach. On-site work with full-time hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• WA Medical Assistant certification or Interim preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of back office/MA experience in ambulatory clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated clinical and administrative duties for primary care team.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms; maintain supplies and equipment.
• Assist in pre-visit planning, document informed consent, and track care gaps.
• Greet patients, conduct vital signs and basic procedures as directed.
• Support site leadership with onboarding, training, and back-office reports.
