In this role you’ll keep critical assets tuned, fix what fails fast, and help engineer improvements that boost safety, quality, and throughput.What You’ll TacklePerform scheduled PMs, inspections, repairs, and fine adjustments.Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, fluid power, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.Respond swiftly to breakdowns and emergencies to reduce downtime.Create precise records: work orders, logs, and equipment histories.Assist with equipment installs, modifications, FAT/SAT, and startups.Team up with Production, Engineering, and Quality to drive reliability and performance.Contribute ideas and action to continuous improvement projects.Support plant shutdowns, changeovers, and priority initiatives.Uphold a safe, clean, and organized workplace.Follow safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures without compromise.Must-HavesHigh School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).2+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing/food production.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset.Comfort with mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and OEM manuals.Hands-on with tools, measurement devices, and diagnostic gear.Organized, collaborative, and self-directed.Available for overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.Nice-to-HavesTrade school, apprenticeship, or technical degree in maintenance, mechatronics, industrial or electrical technology.Experience with PLCs, automation platforms, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls.Skilled-trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.).Food manufacturing background and familiarity with GMPs.Bring Strength InMechanical troubleshooting120/208/240/480 voltage systemsJourneyman’s License (or equivalent proficiency)Electrical troubleshooting and relay testingPneumatics troubleshootingIndustrial electrical systems and maintenance/repairHydraulic systems & componentsEquipment diagnostics and problem isolationMechanical component repairLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Reading electrical schematicsPlanned and corrective maintenanceMachine safety inspectionsTech You’ll TouchMotor Control Centers (MCCs)Injection molding machineryIndustrial control systemsIndustrial blenders/mixersVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs)Extrusion linesERP softwareThermoforming equipmentPLCsConveyorsServo motorsForkliftsIndustrial robotsPhysical & Environmental RealitiesStand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout your shift.Lift and move up to 50 lbs on a routine basis.Work at heights and occasionally in confined spaces.Consistent PPE use is required.You’ll work around moving machinery and industrial equipment with temperature swings, noise, and intermittent exposure to industrial chemicals.
