Job summary

BD in the United States is seeking a production equipment technician to set up, change over, improve and maintain production equipment to meet quality and output standards. You will train operators and provide on‑the‑floor leadership, ensuring compliance with BD quality systems and safety regulations.

Strong mechanical skills and English proficiency are required, with an associates degree preferred and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to read and write in English and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with hand tools and measuring gauges is expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Keep equipment in good repair and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Provide coverage and assist operators during breaks and peak periods.
• Lead teams in scheduling, process improvement, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work safely and follow GMP rules, including potential clean room duties.
• Support management requests and align with plant priorities.
