Job summary

BD seeks a hands-on Maintenance/Setup technician to ensure equipment is ready and reliable for daily production. You will lead operators, perform changeovers, and uphold safety and GMP-style practices within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have mechanical training, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to work on-site with teamwork and leadership to drive continuous improvement and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills/education/background required.
• Ability to read and write in English; strong verbal communication on the floor.
• Associates degree preferred in a mechanical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform changeovers on production equipment.
• Keep equipment in good repair to meet quality and throughput goals.
• Generate accurate maintenance records and other required documentation.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform preventive maintenance.
• Provide coverage for absent coworkers and assist operators during breaks.
• Lead teams in scheduling, process improvement, safety, and continuous improvement.
