Job summary

BD is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives and small-scale engineering projects while collaborating with Controls Coordinators and Process Engineers to implement enhancements to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electromechanical technology or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and process improvement of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, robotics, and machine vision systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration per standards.
• Train operators on equipment operation and safety.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with documentation.
