Job summary

Vanderlande in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the material handling system, including mechanical and electrical tasks during non-operational hours.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and service motors, conveyors, and electrical components, follow safety procedures, prepare service calls, and document work orders in CMMS. The role requires problem-solving, reliability, and willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings/prints.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and electrical equipment per diagrams and specs.
• Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and safe-work practices.
• Prepare and execute service calls, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Report service calls internally and to customer.
• Advise and optimize sub-systems; propose service improvements.
• Analyze system performance and operator influence.
• Occasionally monitor system from Control Room.
• Complete CMMS service reports, parts usage and warranty records.
• Research and request spare parts; perform inventory counts.
