Job summary

MillerWorks in Tallahassee, FL, seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field operations on mechanical projects. You will supervise Foremen and crews, coordinate with Project Managers and customers, and ensure safe, on-time installation of HVAC piping and hydronic systems.

Qualifications include a High school diploma and 7+ years in mechanical construction, with 3+ years in leadership. OSHA 30 or equivalent is preferred; a relevant degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial mechanical construction practices and HVAC piping.
• Experience with hydronic and refrigeration piping systems.
• Ability to plan, direct multiple field crews and manage safety and quality.
• Familiarity with drawings, shop drawings, and coordination documents.
• Strong communication with project teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee field operations for projects.
• Lead Foremen and crews; manage staffing, productivity, and safety.
• Coordinate field activities with project managers and trades.
• Review drawings, schedules, and project requirements to execute plans.
• Monitor progress, labor use, quality, and safety; address issues.
• Procure materials, coordinate fabrication, and manage site logistics.
• Provide technical guidance on installation methods and code compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting; ensure on-time delivery.
