Job summary

Kratos Defense in Roseville, CA, seeks a Mechanical/Structures Engineer I-II to design components from composites and metals, develop fluid systems, and integrate hardware into tightly packaged assemblies. You will prepare drawings, specifications, parts lists, and ICDs, using CATIA/3DX and PLM systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical/Structures Engineering (preferred).
• Experience or coursework in mechanical/structures design.
• Ability to design components from composites and metals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical/Structures engineering for simple to complex projects.
• Design components from composite and metallic materials.
• Develop mechanical fluid systems and integrate hardware.
• Create drawings, specs, parts lists, and interface control documents (ICDs).
• Proficient in CAD; document models and drawings for manufacturing aerospace hardware.
• Apply GD&T and perform tolerance studies.
