Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems (KUAS) seeks a Mechanical/Structures Engineer to drive design, analysis, and integration of complex aerospace hardware. You will develop and document mechanical solutions for high-performance jet-powered unmanned systems, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and project schedules.

The role emphasizes leadership across multiple teams, mentoring junior engineers, and collaboration with suppliers. Occasional travel and hands-on testing support are expected.

Formación

• Requires BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Structures Engineering preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to design mechanical structures and assemblies.
• Knowledgeable in GD&T and tolerance analyses.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical/structures design across composite and metallic components.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and BOMs with CAD tools.
• Support testing, analysis, and integration activities across multiple subsystems.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with suppliers and customers.
