Southland Industries seeks a foreman to schedule, supervise, and lead a small work crew focused on safety and productivity. The role requires coordinating tasks, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring compliance with safety standards on busy construction sites.

Responsibilities include conducting toolbox talks, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining accurate timekeeping and reports. A strong leader with OSHA familiarity and journeyman credentials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks for a crew.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, supervise, and lead a small work crew.
• Ensure crew safety and productivity daily.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety investigations as needed.
• Maintain records, timekeeping, and reports.
• Assign tasks and coordinate on-the-job training for apprentices.
• Review project plans and adjust activities to meet production goals.
• Ensure tools and materials are available and properly managed.
• Support superintendent with production progress and quality reports.
