Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 5–8 years in coal-fired power plant or similar heavy industry preferred.
• Knowledge of power plant operating principles, safe work practices, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to supervise, train, and direct subordinates; strong communication skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, read plans, and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to the maintenance workforce.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise day-to-day and weekly work.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Manage outages and coordinate multi-disciplined work groups.
• Provide oversight of maintenance activities and budget within assigned area.
• Operate and utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
