Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechanical Integration Lead to drive the installation, integration, and deployment of material handling equipment across North America. You will lead mechanical installation crews and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and operations to meet safety, schedule, and cost targets.

You will oversee QC, commissioning, and documentation, while guiding standards and best practices for scalable, high‑quality installations across large sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering including a supervisory role managing people.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, automated, industrial, logistics, production or manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations engineering, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and lead mechanical installation crews deploying MHE across North American facilities.
• Oversee structural header steel installation including hanging steel, prebuilding supports, and anchoring to building structure.
• Lead conveyor prep and placement operations — rigging, lifting, staging, and setting conveyor sections into final positions on installed supports.
• Manage conveyor connections and belting crews — ensuring proper mechanical alignment, bed connections, squaring, leveling, and hardware tightening.
• Direct side guide and netting installation ensuring proper alignment and tension.
