Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based supervisor to contribute to the construction of solar facilities and BESS projects. You will oversee mechanical installation, QA/QC, and daily crew productivity on site, driving quality and safety standards in outdoor environments.

The role requires coordinating with the superintendent, planning daily activities, and ensuring timely completion of tasks across diverse weather conditions. Travel to different job sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in the solar or related construction industry.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites with short notice.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate clock in and out of assigned team members.
• Complete and submit daily Foreman Daily Report to Superintendent.
• Oversee mechanical construction activities (e.g., tracker installation, QA/QC).
• Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet the schedule.
• Monitor quality control of work in place and ensure material/equipment readiness.
• Coordinate equipment needs and ensure operators are qualified and gear is maintained.
• Lead by example to promote safety culture and mentor team members.
