Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Mechanical Supervisor to lead the installation of solar fields and BESS infrastructure. You will oversee crews, ensure quality, safety, and production targets while coordinating with the site Superintendent and foremen.

Responsibilities include daily reports, tool and material readiness, plan activities, and mentoring crew members. You must be able to work outdoors in varied weather and travel to multiple jobsites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years’ experience in solar or related construction.
• Strong ability to coach and mentor field crews.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clock in/out for assigned team members.
• Submit daily reports to Superintendent.
• Lead mechanical construction activities (tracker, module QA/QC).
• Plan daily activities to meet job schedule and production goals.
• Ensure materials/equipment meet schedule needs and are available.
• Coordinate equipment needs and ensure operator qualifications.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Promote safety culture and correct unsafe conditions.
