Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with NASA requirements for human rated spacecraft.
• Proven performance in a mechanical engineering field such as Structures Design, Mechanisms Design, Stress Analysis, or equivalent.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers and Analysts responsible for design, analysis, verification, and test of Orion flight hardware.
• Staff development and coordination with Lockheed senior management and customer representatives.
• Direct application of research to planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems.
