Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Orion Systems Engineer to join the Artemis and Orion teams. You will plan, prepare, and execute hardware and software integration activities for the Orion Integrated Test Laboratory supporting Artemis III and future missions.

The role requires a background in system/test integration, willingness to work extended hours, and US citizenship. Expect possible 2nd shifts and weekend support in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or related degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience
Willing to work extended hours, including 2nd shifts and weekends, in support of test activities
US Citizen required to perform the task

Responsibilities

Ensure the Orion Integrated Test Labs is integrated, maintained and operational.
Background in system and/or subsystem test and integration.
Willing/able to support test shifts in the Orion Test Labs with occasional evening and weekend shift assignments.
Perform analyses including functional, timeline, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate requirements into hardware and software specs.
