Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in the United States is seeking an ATLO Mechanical Test Engineer for the Orion program. You will plan, prepare, and execute mechanical integration tests for Artemis III, Artemis IV, and future missions. Collaboration with engineering, test labs, manufacturing and NASA is essential.

Must be willing to work extended hours, including weekends, and travel to LM Space campuses as needed. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics and test specifications for hardware testing.
• Willing to work extended hours, including second/third shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, procedures and schematics for system and subsystem mechanical tests.
• Coordinate test preparation and execution across teams (engineering, software, manufacturing).
• Execute test procedures on current flight articles and future vehicles; environmental and ground servicing tests.
