Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering or related
• FE exam required or substituted by master’s degree
• 7 years mechanical experience; EPC project experience preferred
• PE license preferred
• Experience with Arrow, Fathom, SmartPlant P&ID a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects for natural gas and coal-fired facilities
• Provide front-end planning and design plus bidding doc preparation
• Oversee construction administration and resolve submittal issues
• Interface with project managers, suppliers, clients, and other disciplines
• Develop cost opinions, work plans, and project schedules
• Mentor less experienced staff and lead teams
• Perform hydraulic calculations, piping selection, and tank sizing
